The THSAA annual scholarships were awarded to three THS graduating seniors on May 10th during the schools scholarship awards ceremony to a packed high school auditorium.
The Gene Harrison Memorial Scholarship for $1500 was awarded to Kayla Quinn. She plans to attend Texas A&M University in the fall .Kayla’s sister Jessica is a 2004 THS Alumnus.

Katarina Weinberg received the Poley Parker Agricultural Scholarship for $1500. Katarina plans to attend Blinn College and is the daughter of 1971 THS Alumnus Marvin Weinberg.
The Rick Eggleston Memorial Scholarship for $1000 was awarded to Preston Plachy. Preston plans to attend the University of Texas in the fall and has four older brothers and sisters that are all THS Alumni.
